happy day

just a couple of cute pictures from wyatt's day today. as you can see, it looks like he and his grandma had a pretty fun day!

autie ree time!

i've started this thing where you spend a couple of days (2-4) and cook enough meals to have throughout the next month...or so, in our case, since most the time it's just the two of us eating it lasted us 2 months! :) this is my second time doing the "once-a-month" cooking. my sister came over to play with and keep wyatt entertained while i went to cooking up a storm!



as you can see, she wore him out! :)

talkin to the frog

our friends bryan and courtney bought this cute frog for wyatt. the frog sometimes will lay on the little piano toy that he has and talks to him ;), which wyatt enjoys!

morning nap

we were having a pj kind of morning, and wyatt is still in his as he is waking up from his morning nap. he's so cute how he's leaning back to look up at me!

weekend in VA

we're visiting matt's parents this weekend. their neighbors were so nice to let wyatt play with this exersaucer (i think this is what this type of toy is called?). You can tell that he is having fun!







there is a car that he is reaching for here, and when it moves back and forth it sort of makes a rough loud noise and it makes him close his eyes!! so cute!

Later on it was bath time, and here he is all wrapped up afterwards! He loves bath time!

two teeth!

yep, we can hardly believe it ourselves, we weren't even looking for them at all! he has his bottom two teeth! they broke through a week an a 1/2 ago (9/5)...5 days before he turned 4 months! wow! they are through just enough were you can kind of see them in this picture.


Wyatt is loving the doorway jumper! espcially now that he has figured out how to jump in it! he'll be happy in that thing for at least an hour! what's funny is when he is ready to get out, he's still jumping but his face isn't so happy! he just can't turn those legs off!

WYATT'S 4 MONTHS!

a mommie's view - one thing that i think is so sweet is how Wyatt will look up at me every now and then when he his nursing and smile! i wasn't quick enough (actually the camera wasn't!!) to catch his smile, but i did get him looking up at me.

1st trip to the beach

These pictures aren’t the clearest because I had to scan then in, but they are better than no picture at all, which is what I have otherwise! My hard-drive crashed and we lost lots of pictures that i hadn't backed up :(. all of the ones from mid july thru the end of September…very heart breaking. But I am thankful to have some from friends and family.

These are a couple of pictures of wyatt and his mommy! ☺ smiling for the camera and laying out. We lost the pictures of his first experience with the waves…lets just say, it wasn’t his favorite thing! It scared him (mostly because it was so cold – we think) and he started crying! He was so cute though with his matching swim trunks and hat! (Thanks Keeva!!)

I became snap happy with the camera this afternoon and caught a bunch of Wyatt’s different expressions!

Not only does this seem to be Wyatt’s favorite chair, but it is our favorite chair because it seems to be Wyatt’s favorite chair!!! We sort of gage how much he has grown by how he fits in this chair! As you can see his little toes barely hang off now! They were inches from the end the first time we laid him in it.

Carmen and Oliver came to stay with Wyatt while Alison was at work today. Carmen was able to snap a few shots of the two playing together! Oliver is three months older than Wyatt. aren't they super cute!

Bjorn

Wyatt seems to really enjoy riding the the Bjorn carrier. He also LOVES being outside, so matt decided to take him for a walk.

WYATT'S THREE MONTHS OLD!

We just love it when we are holding Wyatt and he falls asleep on us! He’s such a snuggler! We love it even more when we lay him down and he stays asleep!! Ha! ;)

a visit to work

Sometimes when I have to pick something up or drop something off at the office sweet Wyatt gets to go with me. He seems to be a welcomed distraction! Here he is with my boss and dear friend Paul...or "Mr. Paul" to all of the kids in the department! ☺

Matt’s Birthday

Today is Matt’s birthday so Wyatt and I spent the day putting the final touches on and hiding the clues for his “birthday treasure hunt”!! ☺

Some of the clues were also hints to what the treasure was!

One of the clues that I wish I would have gotten a picture of, but didn’t, was when we went to Sunny Skies (homemade ice cream place, one of Matt’s favorite places) where he had to ask them if they had something for “Ricky Bobby”. We haven’t seen the movie “Talledega Nights”, but it was a hint to his treasure...and you have to have ice cream on your birthday!

…a ticket to the NACAR race in Charlotte in October!!

Wyatt and I told him that there was something else that he needed to take with him, we wanted him to think that it was a t-shirt that we had made him that we wanted him to wear…he was really thankful to see that there was another ticket underneath!! We decided that he couldn’t go alone, and that he would need to take someone with him!


All in all, we think that he had a fun birthday…even if there were a couple of times he was ready to give up the search – with the walk around the track (it was hot and he had just walked all day long with work) and pretending he was someone else! ;)

Delaware

Well, we’ve been in Delaware a couple of days now and I finally realized that I have a camera and should use it!!! Wyatt was getting some time in with his Great Pop Pop Wyatt!



We went to the fair this evening and we had to get Wyatt all dressed up in his John Deere overalls for the occasion. He received many compliments on his outfit from other fair goers! It was the first time that he rode in his stroller without the car seat carrier attached, so he was able to look around really well.

I finally got a mobile for Wyatt’s crib! Here he is being amazed by it! ☺ I think that he just watched it for about 20 minutes!
