much better

claire is feeling much better! yay!! and praise the Lord that no one else has gotten it so far! hopefully that will continue to be the case. we are still playing things kind of low key, as you will see by the fun little pallets we've made to comfortably watch veggie tales! :)

stomach bug

poor sweet claire woke up around 2am this morning throwing up!!!! :( it was a long morning after that started, as it continued about every 30 minutes until 9am! we were both exhausted by then!! she was so pitiful, i just felt so helpless. praying that she feels better soon!

i sat her here after she rolled off the couch from the previous position pictured...she barely woke up during the fall and fell right back to sleep when i sat her here. tired baby girl.

site seeing and a birthday!

today we headed to the pinehurst area to just see what we could see and try to get a little familiar with the area. matt has had more of a chance to do this, since he's been working out this way for a little over 2 months now. it was good to see all the different areas, but also pretty overwhelming! we haven't been able to actually go house hunting yet, but i feel that once we get to ride around with our realtor, she'll be able to point us in the right direction. we'll hopefully get to start next weekend!

after our adventures in pinehurst (seriously...we couldn't find our way out of a neighborhood at one point!! ha! we were so happy we had the GPS with us! ...in our defense, it is a VERY large neighborhood and i am sure that it's happened to others!) we headed to greensboro to meet the eakrights and gwinns and celebrate jason's (my bro-in-law) 30th birthday! it was a bit crazy (we are used to this now, with the 3 little ones!!) but so fun to get to celebrate Jason and be with family!

house under contract!!!

we can't believe it, but our house is under contract....in exactly 5 WEEKS!!
GOD IS GOOD!! we just pray that everything will go smoothly and that the buyers will fit well and be a good fit for the neighborhood!

i guess we'll be housing hunting soon!!
