daddy time

The Renfrow boys were taking a Saturday afternoon nap! How cute! Later that evening matt gave wyatt his first bottle! Teaching him so that he’ll know how to take it when his mommy goes back to work. He did great, took the bottle on the first try!

MATT’S 1ST FATHER’S DAY!

What a special father’s day! Since matt’s parents and grandparents were here for the dedication yesterday, they are still here for father’s day too! So we have 4 generations: Pop Pop Wyatt, Grandpa Renfrow, Daddy Renfrow and baby Wyatt Renfrow! :)

Wyatt tried on his John Deere cap for everyone that was visiting our house! Matt’s Uncle Chris and Aunt Crystal gave this hat and a cute John Deere overall outfit too! Hopefully we’ll get a picture of him in the full outfit one day.

dedication

Wyatt’s dedication was today! We dedicated him before our family and friends to our Heavenly Father and promised to raise him in a Christian home. It was such a special service and we were so blessed to have so much family there. Both of Wyatt’s grandparents were there, both of his aunts were there, his uncle was there, his Great Pop Pop and Great Grannie were there, his third cousins Bill and Debbie Schultz were there and his Great-great Aunt Rae. After the service we all went to dinner at K&S! yum! Wyatt slept thru it all!!! ☺

wonderful naps

I feel like almost all of the pictures that I take of Wyatt he is asleep!! I need to work on that! I guess it may be because he keeps me so busy when he is awake that I don’t have a chance to get a picture of him with his eyes open! His naps are such a fun time to just sit and stare at him though. This has got to be one of the cutest sleep positions that he has been in yet!! Had to take the picure! I just want to give those cheeks a million kisses!!

tummy time or nap time?

Yep, he likes to nap on his tummy. It started out as tummy time and turned into nap time!

Later on today I was doing some laundry while wyatt took a nap on my lap! Goodness he’s getting big

changing table

Another special piece of furniture that Wyatt has is his changing table/dresser. This was the changing table that my parents bought and used for me and then my sister when we were babies! I also used it for most of my childhood till i was a jr. in highschool. They still had it in their garage so we fixed it up! It used to be dark wood, so my dad cleaned it out, then he and matt sanded it down, painted it white and put new hardware on it. Wyatt is enjoying a little tummy time on the changing table after a bath.

little feets

A typical site, wyatt sleeping with his little feet sticking out of the covers! It is either this way or no covers at all! We cover him up, he kicks them off! And so the cycle gos! ;)

Mt. Holly

Wyatt’s first big trip! Matt had a job interview a week or so before. It seems like a perfect fit for him job wise and it has a lot of things that would be good for us family wise. So, we took a trip to Mt.Holly, Virginia, to check out the area as a family. It is a beautiful place, but WAY out in the country and far away from our family and friends that we have were we are now. it was such a hard decision to make, but we didn’t really feel like God was telling us to go there…not right now anyway. I know that we both think about it every now and then and wonder what things would be like if we had gone…and at the same time very thankful to be where we are.

Fun Fact: Mt.Holly is in Westmoreland County, the county where George Washington and Robert E. Lee were born! This is a picture of the mini Washington monument that is at the state park of George Washington’s birth place…we’d like to go back there one day!
