wyatt enjoying a traditional renfrow beach treat – a blow pop!
(we had to keep and eye on him to make sure we got it before he reached the gum part!)
we got to spend the week at the beach with the sweet renfrows and sweet pollocks!! what a fun week that flew by!! the kids just loved playing in the sand, and thankfully not too much of it was eaten!!
everyday, mainly by late morning, this is what our "beach camp" would look like. john and ash were usually the first ones out getting the spot...whoever had the little ones would be the last ones out!

this particular day it was really windy. it was so cute how wyatt didn't even seem to notice the umbrella flapping on his head while he was playing in the sand.
as a precaution to keeping sand out of her mouth, claire had her paci during sand play time.
our two little monkeys were so focused and content in their sand playing that most of the time it was hard to believe we actually had a 3 yr old and 1.5 yr old with us!

wyatt and claire awaiting another fun renfrow beach tradition is "chicken on the beach". this is the longest day on the beach, we stay out (for the most part) until dinner. then fried chicken is picked up from a local resturant and sides are prepared at the beach cottage and we have a yummy meal on the beach!

WOW, did you really take that many pics on vacation or did you get these from some one :-) VERY IMPRESSED!
I bet taking away a blow pop that is not finished is NOT fun!

I LOVE the pic of Wyatt sitting by himself, and the fact that he got someone's drink, he's no dummy :-)
Also it looks like you posted this at 2 AM, when do you sleep and how do you function?!?!?!?!?!

i want to go to the beach with you guys! eli has yet to visit the ocean...i bet he would LOVE it! i want to see the lil' stinker and the sand muncher in action on the coast! ;)
