...if he can get his hands on them, he will have his feet in them! it's not only one of his favorite words to say ("oosh"), they are also one of his favorite things - wyatt loves shoes...of all kinds! here you can see he found his daddy's boots! they make a wonderful addition to his already wonderfully matching outfit!

today was the first time we actually took a picture of wyatt and claire together, and also the first time wyatt got to hold claire! so cute and kind of nerve racking cause he kept trying to poke her in the eye or press his face on her!

Claire Marie is here!

Sweet baby Renfrow #2 arrived today, and we were surprised with a little girl!! Claire Marie was born at 6:45am, 8 lbs 12 oz. we are so excited and so blessed to have a healthy little daughter and little sister for wyatt! i was scheduled for an 11am c-section, but the Lord heard my prayers and desire to go into labor on my own and let it happen! so i woke up around 4am to my water breaking, then we were heading to the hospital within 30 minutes! i still had a c-section, for several reasons, and my doc was so gracious to come in a few hours early to still do the surgery instead of a doc i had never met before.

Matt's Fishin' Trip

Matt went on a fishing trip with his Uncle Chris and cousin Mel. they had a great time and a good turn out! they said that it started out slow and then they caught all the fish at once!

Christmas Day

it's christmas eve and we are in indiana! sooo fun! we've been eating yummy goodies that my grandma, aunt and cousins have made, catching up and playing games. speaking of the goodies, thanks sooo much for sharing them with us!

this evening we exchanged gifts. the kids had picked names and us adults did a "white elephant" exchange. both were very fun! we ended up with a starbucks gift card and the game of LIFE! fun! wyatt got a crazy telephone that makes crazy noises and a toy from his great grandparents that when you push/turn buttons cute little animals pop up!

animal train

just some cute pictures of wyatt playing with the animal train that he received from santa! the train actually moves and wyatt gets so excited to see it coming toward or away from him. it also plays music and he will dance with it! so cute!

"Christmas Morning"

after "christmas day" at andrea and jason's, we went to vati and mutti's for "christmas morning", even though it was really the evening of today! ha! vati had a yummy stew cooking in the crock pot that was ready for us when we arrived. we ate dinner than all went and put our pjs on! because you always have your pjs on christmas morning! ;)

wyatt, being the youngest...obviously...got to open his gifts from santa first! that and he had to go to bed as soon as he was finished opening them! autie ree started it for him that gave it to him and lifted him as he held on! :)

one of the highlights of the evening was when mutti opened the one gift that was actually a surprise to her, AND also a gift that she had given to vati 5 years ago that he had never opened!! we were all laughing so hard! it is a really nice ice cream/yogurt maker...hopefully it will actually get used now!

"Christmas Eve"

after the christmas brunch with our friends, we headed to andrea and jason's house for "chrismas eve"! we are all going to indiana for chrismas this year, so we had to find a time we could all get together before we left to exchange gifts. and there were gifts galore! we had such a fun time!

3rd Christmas Party!

What a fun day we had today! It started with church and then we had a Christmas Brunch with our friends from our birthing class. Wyatt is at the end of his first really bad cold / start of an ear infection, so we tried to keep our distance, accept during the group picture, we had to get close! So hopefully no one will get sick! I was also a bit sniffly, but not bad at all! If we were too bad, we wouldn’t have gone, no one wants to be sick!

7 MONTHS OLD!

Wow, we cannot believe that our little guy is 7 months old! He just brightens every day with that cute face and smile! It’s amazing to think of how much he has grown and learned in such a short period of time! He’s sitting up really well these days. We don’t have to put anything behind him, but at some point during sitting he always decides to lay down, and the pillow is just nicer to his little "punkin" head!! He can roll now, but he rarely does it. He just enjoys sitting in one place and playing with his toys. Unless, of course, he is in the Johnny Jumper in the doorway, then those feet keep him bouncin’! he also has about 5 teeth trying to join the two he has on the bottom. Four on the top and one more on the bottom. the one on the bottoms has broken through too. He barely seems to notice them, aside from the drooling and sudden love for the pacifier!

2nd Christmas party!

We had a Christmas party with my department from work…aka: 2nd family! It was a lot of fun. We did white elephant gifts: we ended up with 2 packs of glow sticks (necklaces, braclets – kind of a fun gift!) and an old timey disney alarm clock (not so fun gift!). Wyatt also received his first Christmas gift at this party! ☺ It was a fun cement truck and a book about trucks!




we all chipped in to give paul (our fearless leader ;) ) and his wife nancy this print that paul had beeb eyeing on our trip to the art museum couple months ago.

1st Christmas party!

Wyatt experienced his first Christmas party this evening! It was a fun time with great friends and lots of yummy food!

We of course had to at least try to get a picture of all the little ones together in front of the Christmas tree! Never could get them to all look at the same time, but at least they are all facing toward the cameras! That was a feat in itself!

What a funny guy! He’s got these neat little “U” shaped toys that he likes to bite on, but this was a new way of biting on it!




later we broke out his baby einstein gym, which he hasn’t played with for a couple of weeks. Last time he played with it he couldn’t sit up on his own, so now he can be right at everything! Wow, this makes you realize how fast they grow!! He’s 6 ½ months old already!
